​In a world where sight dominates our perception, U-Boot dives beneath the surface, seeking a realm where the senses extend beyond the eye. Using the hydrophone, an instrument originally conceived to detect the silent approach of German U-Boot during the First World War, the work evokes an experience where sound alone becomes the demiurge of the visual, capturing submerged vibrations, resonances and acoustic impulses that reside beneath the surface. The acoustic events captured through the hydrophone become an act of transformation in themselves, as what was once a distant and foreign noise is transmuted into an intimate and corporeal experience.

In un mondo in cui la vista domina la nostra percezione, U-Boot si immerge sotto la superficie, alla ricerca di un regno in cui i sensi si estendono oltre l'occhio. Attraverso l'idrofono, uno strumento originariamente concepito per rilevare l'avvicinamento silenzioso degli U-Boot tedeschi durante la prima guerra mondiale, l'opera evoca un'esperienza in cui il solo suono diviene demiurgo del visivo, attraverso la cattura di vibrazioni sommerse, risonanze e impulsi acustici che risiedono sotto la superficie. Gli eventi acustici ripresi attraverso l’idrofono diventa un atto di trasformazione in sé, poiché ciò che un tempo era un rumore distante ed estraneo viene trasmutato in un'esperienza intima e corporea.
